The business capital of a business is the money it has available to pay for the day to day business operations and to fund its growth.The major types of capital include business capital , working capital, debt capital and equity capital.
Business capital may be derived from the operation of the business or be raised from equity or debt funding.The cost of capital represents the cost of obtaining that money or financing for the business. There are many numerous sources of capital and the two main categories are debt funding which essentially means you borrow money and repay it with interest and equity funding where money is invested in the business in exchange for a part/ percentage of ownership.
